I am Captain Benjamin Wolf,
commanding officer of DS9. We are a proud member of the Star Trek:
United Forces fleet, and a live sim based in
AOL/AIM chatrooms. We play every Sunday night at 10:00pm EST/7:00pm
PST. If you're looking for great storytelling and character
development, DS9 is the place for you! Dating back to when it first
started in 2004, we've had some of the most experienced simmers on
AOL join our ranks.
So join up now! Be a part of the legacy.

The year is 2421...
Just over three decades ago, the supernova of a nearby star resulted
in the destruction of Romulus and Remus. In the chaos that followed,
a power struggle to control what remained of the once great Romulan
Star Empire began a chain reaction that soon led to the collapse of
the Empire. Seizing the opportunity to finally crush one of their
oldest foes, the Klingon Empire launched a massive invasion of
Romulan space, further destroying what little was left of the
Empire. The Federation quickly denounced the attacks, but did
nothing. In the years that followed, the Klingons launched campaigns
against the Nausicaans, the Orions and the Gorn. Though the
Federation sent in peacekeepers in an attempt to end the fighting,
each power was soon brought under the flag of the Klingon Empire.
Finally, the Empire began to invade Federation systems that they
claimed were theirs. Soon, the United Federation of Planets and the
Klingon Empire were at full scale war.
The war raged for the next thirteen years, claiming millions of
lives. In the end, the Federation was victorious. The Klingons
agreed to peace, and new Khitomer Accords were drawn up. At the end
of 2420, the Klingon Empire relinquished control of numerous
Federation systems that had been taken and occupied during the war,
including Bajor. Now, a Federation crew has been sent to retake
command of Starbase Deep Space Nine, once again moved to orbit of
Bajor after the destruction of the Bajoran wormhole during the war.
