Background Information: |
The second of four children, Benjamin Eugene Wolf was born the eldest
son of Benjamin, Jr. and Sarah Wolf, a Starfleet officer and Federation
diplomat, respectively. Benjamin and his siblings lived mostly with
their mother on Earth when they were younger, as Benjamin, Jr. was
off-world fairly often. When Sarah returned to work, the children moved
with her to Qo'noS, where she eventually became the Federation
Ambassador to the Klingon Empire.
Two years before the Federation/Klingon War, Benjamin joined Starfleet
Academy. When the war started in 2406, Benjamin was selected with a
number of other cadets to be given field promotions and assigned to
posts. He worked his way up the chain of command quickly, and by 2413,
he had been offered the Executive Officer position on the U.S.S.
Polaris.
At the end of the war, the U.S.S. Polaris was one of the most decorated
ships in the fleet, having participated in numerous high-profile
campaigns and several great victories for the Federation. At the end of
2420, Benjamin was promoted to the rank of Captain, and ordered to take
the Polaris to Starbase Deep Space Nine to assume command. |
