Background Information: That T'Ling would go into Medicine was a given. The Only Child of Renowned Vulcan XenoBiologist T'Peal and (in)famous Dr. Min-Hsiung Liu, the Chief Medical Officer of the USS Tulon, who brought traditional native Medical Practices from dozens of worlds to the forefront of Medical Science.

With the Death of her Husband when the Tulon was lost with all hands in 2396, T'Peal returned to Vulcan to start T'Ling's Formal Vulcan Education and to raise her in a strictly Vulcan Environment in an effort to curb her more human traits. After graduating with hard earned honors, T'Ling returned to Earth to follow in her Father's footsteps. Graduating with a Dual degree in both General Medicine and Virus Theory, She received her first official posting, Deep Space Nine.

While Vulcan physical traits always breed true, her facial features more resemble that of her Asian heritage. Delicate looking rather than severe, she is none-the-less a Vulcan in Mind, Body, and usually, Emotion.
